Acres Lake Boardwalk is Ireland’s first floating boardwalk. The 600m boardwalk, in the beautiful village of Drumshanbo is the start of a 6.5km linear walking and cycling trail along the Shannon Blueway from Acres Lake to Battlebridge Lock, near Leitrim village.
The amazing scenery at Acres lake makes it a perfect spot for families to take a picnic or even to get the kids to run free in the best of what nature has to offer.
This walk connects to the Drumhauver Bridge loop walk and the Drumleague Lock loop walk.
